You can be sure this Thousand Island sauce is versatile and tastes great on everything.

From sandwiches, to potatoes, on pasta (Alfredo Sauce), with veggies, or fries (Fry Sauce).

Of course also with rice, on salads, burgers (Burger Sauce), chips (Ranch Dip), pretzels or bread.

I’m pretty sure friends some of you heard about Russian dressing which is popular and tastes amazing. But what is exactly the difference?

Let me tell you:

Thousand Island Dressing is made with sweet pickle relish, which is prominent for a great texture and a sweet hint in the flavor. Russian Dressing is more spicy made with chili sauce and horseradish.

Why this Thousand Island Dressing is perfect on any salad

First of all, it requires just 5 minutes of your time to make it.

The Thousand Island Dressing is creamy and versatile: of course you can use coconut or soy yoghurt instead of mayo, but for me the mayo is everything what makes this dressing so good and amazing.

Adding sweet pickle relish crates a great texture.

Once you’ve made this dressing with my step by step pictures you can make easily a double batch or more. I tell you it is not only great for salads, but also wonderful as secret sauce for sandwiches, yum.

Quick salad idea:

This is one of my favorite salads that I eat a lot: Fry some mushrooms in a pan for 2 minutes then mix them with lettuce, corn, and the dressing. So good.

You can freeze the dressing in individual portions or use freezer bags for larger quantities. The Thousand Island Dressing will last for around 3 months.
