How to make Puerto Rican Stuffed Potato Balls

Begin with preparing the potatoes. If yours are not cooked yet, boil them in a larger pot in salted water until tender, about 15-20 minutes.

Drain and mash the potatoes with extra potato starch and a pinch of salt. Allow the mashed potatoes to cool slightly, and set aside.

Next, make the vegan beef filling. In a large skillet, cook the vegan ground beef over medium heat until browned. Stir in the tomato sauce, cumin, smoked paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper. Cook for another 5 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld. Remove from heat and let cool.
