When the pasta is done, drain it and mix with the prepared sauce. Transfer to a 10×10 casserole dish, add reserved cheese shreds and optional bread crumbs on top. Bake for around 15 minutes, serve on plates or in bowls.
It makes such a fantastic dinner, lunch, meal prep, make ahead meal. I also could imagine it is delicious for date night. Who does not love a big bowl of comfort food? Right, it is seriously the best, friends.
The Jalapeno Popper Mac and Cheese is great for work lunch, as part of lunch boxes. It tastes great with a salad. As I always say, if you don’t like any spicy food, just skip the jalapenos and added roasted red peppers instead.
I would highly recommend to use roasted peppers, as it adds a lot of flavor and texture to that dish.
