Greek Salad is easy to make, full of flavor, refreshing and made with just the most amazing Greek salad dressing you can ask for. Once you try you know this is a keeper, and the whole family can’t get enough of it. It is a salad recipe that tastes so good like you eat in an amazing restauraunt, but you can make everything easily at home.
For me salads make a wonderful lunch or dinner any time.
Just think of enjoying a Green Bean Salad, Avocado Salad, Southern Potato Salad, Tuna Salad, Chickpea Salad, Brussels Sprouts Salad, or Chicken Salad.
Plain or with some bread or chips you know this is everything that is good about it.
What is traditional Greek Salad made of?
It consists bell peppers, cucumbers, onions, feta and of course olives.
A classic and so easy to make, but it wouldn’t be me if I wasn’t looking for something to make everything over the top delicious.
In my gusto I nailed it so I added dill to my Greek Salad dressing and that of course makes truly an amazing difference. Adds lots and lots of wonderful and fresh flavors to the final result.
What you need for this Greek Salad recipe
All what is used are pantry staples and here are the Greek salad ingredients:
Cucumbers add a lot of freshness and a wonderful crunchy texture.
Cherry tomatoes are in for bright and bold flavors. It is a staple in almost any salad.
Dairy free feta: I use Greek style, because it tastes amazing, creamy and adds up great flavor to our salad.
Kalamata olives are one of my favorites olives. You can’t beat that intense flavor and amazing taste. Of course any olives will work and it will taste great anyways you add them.
Red onions and bell peppers come with parsley to add another layering of texture and taste.
Wait for the dressing and let me tell you it is really, really good.
What’s in this Greek Salad dressing
Olive oil along with vinegar and garlic makes a wonderful and tasty base for our dressing.
Mustard complements the other flavors and add a bit of tang.
Oregano and dill makes everything so unmistakably delicious.
How to make Greek Salad
Make dressing
Into to a small bowl, combine olive oil, vinegar, garlic, mustard, dill, oregano. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper. Mix and set aside until further use.
Prepare salad
To a bowl, add cucumbers, feta, red peppers, olives, tomatoes, onions, parsley.
Give dressing over the salad, mix and serve.
Leftovers:
If you have leftovers, you can store them for 4 days in the fridge.

Ingredients
For the Salad:
- 3/4 cucumber, diced
- 10 oz cherry tomatoes, halved
- 5 oz vegan feta, cubed
- 1/3 cup red onion, sliced
- 3/4 cup Kalamata olives, pitted and halved
- 1/2 cup bell peppers, sliced
- 1/4 cup parsley, chopped
For the Dressing:
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, pressed
- 2 Tbs vinegar
- 1 tsp mustard
- 1/4 cup dill
- 2 tsp oregano
- salt, pepper to taste
Instructions
- Make the dressing:
To a small bowl, add olive oil, vinergar, garlic, mustard, dill, oregano. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper. Mix and set aside. - Combine the salad:
