I have a soft spot for tahini and could eat it almost every day. For real I could eat it straight from the jar with a spoon.

You know that I like to put it over pasta. How to make tahini sauce I have shown you already with this Spicy Tahini Pasta Sauce. I just love it.

Only recently I by coincidence found a bag of gluten free gnocchi in my local store. Hmm, and my mind starting thinking about what could I do with this.

Of course there are many options. An Alfredo sauce, or an avocado sauce, or even how to make tomato sauce.

Which is of course super easy. You can use chopped tomatoes (fresh or from the can), yup that’s it. Add a bit of garlic and for creaminess a bit of coconut milk or cashews, done.

But my tahini craving was still going. So it’s not a big surprise that I want to combine the simplicity of a tomato sauce with the creaminess of tahini.

It turns out so delicious and incredibly creamy. I was surprised how you can make such one delicious sauce nut free and without any cream.

The tahini flavor really compliments the tomato sauce. If you think it’s overpowering, think again. It really adds the rich flavor to that dish which it’s absolutely perfect.

If you’re not a tahini lover, try light tahini. It will give you the same creaminess but the flavor will be a bit less rich and robust.

Get ready and be prepared for these super easy and insanely delicious Gnocchi with Garlic Cream Tomato Sauce.

They are done in no time, bursting with flavors, super rich and indulgent, flavorful, addictive, mouthwatering, super simple, but impressive, and mouthwatering good.

How to make Gnocchi with Garlic Cream Tomato Sauce

It couldn’t be any easier than it gets. You have two methods to make them: cooking or frying.

Cook the gnocchis according the manufacturer’s directions. Drain them, then transfer them back in the same casserole.

Next add marinara, tahini, garlic, and warm over medium heat. Divide into bowls and plates.

For frying, heat 2 Tablespoons olive oil in a skillet and fry the gnocchis. No need for cooking before, add all the other pasta sauce ingredients to that skillet and heat up. Enjoy from the skillet or divide on bowls.

It makes a fantastic quick week night meal, lunch, dinner, or is also great for date night. Believe me that one can do such a great dish with such simple ingredients. It’s also a great dairy free alternative for everyone.

No one will miss the cream. Even meat eaters or picky kids, everyone that I served this was craving for more.

As I mentioned before I found a gluten free and vegan gnocchi bag in my store.

You can always use your favorite gnocchis which you love and like. This recipe will work with everything.

But If you’re excited for a new kitchen adventure you can make your own easily.

How to make Gnocchi

It’s easier than you might think. All you need is cooked potatoes, flour (I would suggest light buckwheat), a pinch of salt to taste .

Combine cooked potatoes, flour, and salt in a mixing bowl. Mix with your hands until you have a sticky dough. Now you can form a long log with your hands and cut equal pieces with a knife from it.

This is for aesthetic reasons. If you want it a bit faster and at the same time delicious just when you form the dough with hands, divide the dough and roll with your hands in in equal pieces like a plum size.

Last you can cook the gnocchis in boiling water for around 10 minutes until done. Or heat a bit oil in a skillet and fry them until lightly golden and done.

You can upgrade your flavor experience by adding some vegan Parmesan to your dough, sundried tomatoes, or pine nuts.

There are so many options, enjoy.
