My Detox Broccoli Soup is everything that a vegan soup should have: flavor, good ingredients, and a lot of heart and soul. Can you believe that with only a few simple ingredients you can make a complex tasting and satisfying soup? One that is also good for your body? Well, here it is. Vegan, gluten free, detox for home.
It’s the time after the Thanksgiving feasts when it’s good to help your body heal by having a detox cleanse. My new Detox Broccoli Soup is a great cleansing recipe.
But not only after Thanksgiving our bodies usually have a lot to digest – literally. Think of all the other holidays during the year that involve lots of eating.
Nothing wrong with that of course, but I believe that one needs to reset oneself once in a while too. Or think about times when life becomes hectic and stressful.
We all tend to eat in a hurry. Not good in the long run, if it’s not the right kind of food.
With only 2 ingredients plus optional toppings, this Broccoli Soup is done within minutes. You can enjoy a nourishing and healthy soup even in the most hectic times.
This easy soup recipe is also a great way to eat more veggies and greens in your nutrition.
Fast and easy recipes fit perfectly to a hectic lifestyle. If you want to have a fresh recipe with a lot of vegetables, which you don’t have to make in advance, this Detox Broccoli Soup is exactly what you need.
Nothing against making a meal in advance the day before – but really fresh tastes so much better than preheated sometimes.
With this time saving Detox Broccoli Soup recipe you can make yourself comfortable after a long hard day at work, or after big holiday feasts.
And not just for yourself but also for your family and friends. Is there a better way to show them how much you care about them than feeding them good food?
There are already a couple of soup recipes on Contentedness Cooking like my Pumpkin Soup or the Vegan Sweet Potato Soup with Kale – but none of them is so easy to make as this Detox Broccoli Soup.
More than that, it’s such an easy eye-catcher recipe. Look at the greens! It is straightforward to prepare: just cook the broccoli in coconut milk for about 5 minutes until it softens.
Let it cool a bit, put it in a bowl of blender or food processor blend until smooth.
The coconut milk adds richness and creaminess to the soup. Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg to your own liking. Many detox recipes can take bland and boring – not this one!
Enjoy amazing variations of my Detox Broccoli Soup
It is absolutely possible to double or triple the amount of the Detox Broccoli Soup, which also depends on your guests and for sure on your appetite.
Basically I would say this recipe is suitable for 2 or 3 people, so feel free to make more or less with this easy recipe.
With the extra toppings, you can play around and add a new flavor component each time you make this soup. If you like, add some sliced avocados, crushed macadamias and last but not least some chopped parsley to the soup to make a full meal from it.
The only limit here is your creativity.
Whenever you feel like it, give my Detox Broccoli Soup a try.
I’m so much looking forward to hear from your here in the comments, on Facebook, Pinterest, and Instagram.
Love talking to you. Cheers, Florian.

I made this soup today and I substituted the coconut milk with a almond/cashew mild blend only because I am not a fan of coconut in any form I had put aside some broccoli and when I was ready to eat the soup steamed the broccoli and added it to the soup I used pepper and nutmeg for the seasoning I will definitely make it again
