With my Coffee Cheesecake Mousse you can satisfy your coffee craving in form of a creamy dessert. It’s vegan, gluten free, and the best thing: just 5 ingredients, and you are ready to enjoy this decadent and addicting Mousse.
Friends, there is no denying it. I am not a morning person at all. I recently read a short article about a person who claimed that getting up early before sunrise was the most relaxing thing in the world. Watching the world at peace and slowly rising from slumber.
That person was totally serious!
I found that hard to believe. If I should be up for any reason before sunrise in summer, it’s good advice not to get near me unless I had at least one morning coffee. And even then I would not advise it.
One way to appease me though is to try and satisfy my cravings for dessert. Funny that in those situations, I’m always up for something sweet.
Besides that, a dessert is for me what really completes a good dinner.
If you are sitting together with friends or family and have just had an amazing main course – what is better than topping it off with an indulgence combined with a good coffee? Who’s with me?
Well, I got you covered. Time to get excited about my newest creation: a Coffee Cheesecake Mousse made from just 5 ingredients in 2 easy steps. Done in no time.
Where did I get the inspiration for this new vegan dessert from? I was reminded of a stay in Italy. Have you ever been there?
I visited some time before I became vegan. At that time, I enjoyed it so much: gelato, tiramisu – rich, creamy, decadent (thanks to mascarpone a really rich and thick cream, though).
And of course, being the coffee lover that I am, I absolutely fell in love with coffee over there. So here is the idea that popped up in my head: why not combine my two passions into one dessert!
When you are trying to do this in a vegan way, it can be tough. You don’t want to miss out on the decadence – who would want that?
But you want the same experience in a vegan way. No cream, milk, or butter. Just with ingredients ready for a plant based lifestyle.
You guys know me, I’m not running away from such a challenge. I word hard to bring you the best vegan experience I can. And this is how the Coffee Cheesecake Mousse came into life.
It’s decadent, rich, creamy, mesmerizing, memorable, drool-worthy, and totally delicious.
Friends, you have come to the right place. Time to let you know how we do this? Let’s get started!
Two steps only: For making the mousse, head over to your blender or food processor. Combine vegan cream cheese, coconut blossom sugar, peeled hazelnuts, and a shot of good coffee in its bowl.
The choice of the coffee shot is important. You can play around with the strength depending on your preference, but most importantly you need good quality coffee. I’ve been very happy with using the coffee from Gourmesso.com – not only for this recipe but for all my constant coffee cravings.
Process all ingredients until smooth and creamy. Finally, be creative in arranging the Coffee Cheesecake Mousse. Use jars, small bowls, or glasses, and garnish with shaved vegan chocolate, ready.
Isn’t it easy, friends? It tastes heavenly and makes a perfect, healthy, plant based dessert for date night which will surely impress your sweetheart. Think about potlucks, parties, or just any other occasion, in which a dessert will be a winning finish to a meal.
Really! Forgetting dessert would be sad!
You know my love for cheesecake recipes, like my Raw Vegan Strawberry Peanut Butter Cheesecake. This new Coffee Cheesecake Mousse is totally a winner and an amazing addition to the growing list.
I had tested this recipe on some of my friends. They were absolutely stunned and kept asking me for this recipe. They couldn’t believe it’s made from 5 simple ingredients only.
But that’s the trick: you don’t need a bunch of ingredients for a luscious and beautiful, decadent dessert. Nor do you need complicated steps to make this. If you already know me and my blog a bit you know that this is what my recipes are all about.
Enjoy your date night with my Coffee Cheesecake Mousse
So when you think about making this Coffee Cheesecake Mousse, one of the key ingredients is of course the coffee. In fact you can play around with the strength depending on your preference. But what I would like to ask you is to please take a moment and think about the coffee that you are using.
I always buy Fair Trade coffee. This article “7 Reasons You Should Buy Fair Trade Coffee” gives you some good reasons why. Environmental sustainability is of course extremely important these days.
At the same time, you support local communities and take steps so that local workers really receive a fair price for their products. And it’s easy for us to buy Fair Trade coffee. It doesn’t matter if you buy full beans or ground coffee. Even when you use capsule machines, you can do your part.
Friends, waste no time and make my Coffee Cheesecake Mousse.
Snap a picture tag me on Facebook and Instagram so I can see all your lovely creations.
Talk to you soon! Cheers, Florian

Omg, I'm DYING over these closeup shots Florian! They have me drooling all over my keyboard, hahaha. Seriously, adding coffee to desserts is one of my favorite things ever. I have a recipe this week with if actually. I died laughing at your morning person story because I'm totally the same way. I am NOT a morning person and absolutely hate to get up in the morning. Once I am up and moving around, then I get into a good mood fairly quickly and really like to enjoy a long day, which can only start by getting up early, but the actual process of waking up SUCKS, lol. Anyways, if I had this coffee cheesecake mousse waiting for me, it would make it much easier. Looks so damn delicious!
