Parties and snacks
Every year summer is for me the time when I grab a bag of chips and make dips. Simple but this already sounds like a meal to me, yes.
Especially with amazing dips like this Potato Chip Dip, the Buffalo Dip, or my Rotel Dip.
Just as amazing are my Spinach Dip or the Nacho Dip – there are so many ways to enjoy these all year long. Seriously who doesn’t want an easy homemade dip to spice up a lunch or dinner? No matter with chips or veggie sticks, always great.
Why you should make this copycat Fiesta Ranch Dip
There are a ton of reasons you should treat yourself to a bite or more of this easy homemade dip recipe. You will love the taste and the texture
Perfect texture – my recipe includes freshly diced tomatoes and corn. As a result, the dip does not only get a fresh touch but also gets a bit of a crunchy texture.
Seasoning – people often go and use a store-bought Ranch Dip mix to get the flavors right. But there isn’t really any need for this, as you can make it homemade in seconds. I will show you how to do that. Easy, peasy.
Creamy and rich – for the base of the Fiesta Ranch Dip, I use a combination of vegan mayo, sour cream, and especially cream cheese. We are going for all that good stuff.
A little heat is great – this is my very personal touch to this recipe. I often like a touch of spiciness in my dips so I also add a little bit of hot sauce to this one, too. If you don’t have yet a favorite homemade hot sauce yet, try my Nashville Hot Sauce.
How to make a homemade Ranch Dip Mix
Really there is not a single reason why you shouldn’t make your own Ranch Dip Mix. Either to use it for this dip recipe, or to make a Ranch Dressing.
Here is the very short list of ingredients you need to have at hand:
- Chives
- Parsley
- Dill
- Garlic powder
- Onion powder
What is Ranch Dip made of?
So, let’s get to the Fiesta Ranch Dip itself. Besides the seasoning mix, all you need is
- Vegan mayo, sour cream, cream cheese
- Hot sauce
- Vegan Tex mex Shreds
- Corn
- Tomatoes
- Green onions
How to make Fiesta Ranch Dip
In a large bowl combine corn, tomatoes, Tex mex shreds.
Next add dried chives, parsley, dill, garlic, onion powder, hot sauce, and vegan cream cheese, sour cream and mayo. Season with a pinch salt and pepper.
Mix everything and garnish with scallions, and optionally some more veggies and cheese shreds.
Storage and Serving Suggestions
The Fiesta Ranch Dip will stay good in the fridge for 4 days. Make sure to use an airtight container.
I do not recommend freezing. With the combination of ingredients, it will become a soggy mess after thawing and nobody like this.
What to serve with Ranch Dip? I suggest you let your imagination run free: veggies, pretzels, crackers, chops, bread sticks, even over pasta and rice. Or as a sandwich spread.
